April 2023 Price Increase

The end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 has brought about significant price increases across several industries, including retail, energy, mortgage rates, and technology. Many of our competitors, such as most UK mobile networks and leading landline and VoIP providers, have already announced their price hikes in the past six weeks.

As a responsible business, we review the CPI rate every year, just like all our suppliers. Unfortunately, this year’s CPI rate, which was published in January, showed a significant increase, which has led to a chain reaction of price increases throughout our supply chain, affecting Selective Networks as well.

As a small business, we take pride in providing cost-effective solutions to our clients. However, due to our supply chain’s price increase, we must pass on these costs to our customers.

The CPI rate published in January 2023 was 10.5%, which means that the majority of our customers will experience a 14.4% price increase (10.5% + 3.9% APR) from April 2023. For an average broadband customer, this increase translates to just over £1.00 per week. These price changes will take effect from 31 March 2023.

We understand that these changes may be inconvenient for our customers, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your account manager for further information.
